My photography journey began over 20 years ago with the simple desire to create a business where I could do what what I loved as an artist and raise a family. That passion and desire soon became a successful business venture serving over 80-100 weddings and events per year. My photography training and experience began under the tutelage of my late husband who was a brilliant photographer. As we grew and expanded, I continued my training through Professional Photographers of America, West Coast School in San Diego and eventually served as President for Professional Photographers of Orange County. I was very fortunate to learn from some of the best masters in the industry. As a born creative, I discovered that my artistry could be expressed through various mediums including photography, makeup artistry, writing, public speaking and entrepreneurship. I eventually wrote a book and became a published author and speaker after surviving a life crisis in 2007.
I love capturing life’s precious moments and helping others celebrate their love of life. It is an honor and privilege to have served so many couples and families in my career. I am especially excited for those who have been blessed with a "second chance" at love as I have after losing my beloved husband. Life is a continual journey and in the end, the only thing that really matters is LOVE.
I am so excited and honored to collaborate with my dear friend and incredibly talented photojournalist Kathleen Clark. She has joined the team to serve our clients as our Premier Photographer. Kathleen earned her Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism from the University of Delaware, and completed her postgraduate studies in Portrait and Fine Art Photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Kathleen has been a working photographer for more than 25 years, owning and operating a successful studio in Laguna Beach for over 20 years. She is also praised as a fine art photographic artist. Her work has been acquired and displayed in the décor of such prestigious resorts as the Ritz Carlton, Hilton, and Marriott hotels , as well as in numerous resorts and casinos in Las Vegas. She has even been a featured artist at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach. Throughout her career, she's been highly sought out by couples getting married because of her innate ability to discretely capture decisive moments with style and enthusiasm. Her passion for the art of photography ensures that your memorable moments will be treasured for a lifetime!
